Welcome to Best Kidz ELC Southern Highlands.
We are located in the gorgeous Mittagong region. Our centre is licensed for 51 children per day, catering for ages 6 weeks to 5 years, working at higher staff to child ratios.
At Best Kidz ELC Southern Highlands we pride ourselves on running a family orientated centre, where parents/guardians and other family members are more than welcome to come and spend time with their child during the course of the day. We also value your input, and always aim to incorporate your ideas into our program to ensure your child’s time with us is enjoyable.

We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am – 6.00pm, 49 weeks of the year.

While your children are in our care, they will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of educational experiences, designed to meet the specific interests and needs of your child.
These are planned and implemented by our highly trained staff.
Gorgeous facilities for your children
We have a beautiful outdoor play area for your child to explore and engage with the natural surroundings. The children love feeding our resident chickens, and collecting their eggs or climbing and exploring our BIG pirate ship!
Our rooms are equipped with the latest resources, and our Butterfly Room has a SmartBoard, further enhancing our already wonderful school readiness program for the children moving onto BIG school.
Assisting with your child’s future education
Best Kidz Southern Highlands Child Care has a great relationship with our local schools and as such, we offer an information evening where we invite the local principals and kindergarten teachers to come to our centre and talk about their schools, expectations for school readiness and starting kindergarten.
A valuable evening, as we know the anxiety parents can feel when deciding on the school to send their child.
